Potassium Cetyl Phosphate is an anionic, oil-in-water emulsifier and surfactant derived from fatty alcohols and phosphoric acid. It provides excellent emulsification of high oil phase formulations and improves the stability of sunscreens, moisturizers, and makeup products. It enhances the spreadability and sensory profile of emulsions and is often used to stabilize formulations containing UV filters or active ingredients.
